Workshops and courses are a great way to explore new creative ventures or just have a bit of fun doing something different. I offer a wide range of options which can be tailored to your event, preference or desired experience.
Group workshops can be a great way of engaging an organisation, community or friendship group in a fun, sensory experience that brings an element of community and collaborative learning for up to 10 people and a wide range of age groups. I don’t have a rigid formula for my workshops or one-to-one sessions, so let me know what you’d like to get out of it and we can tailor it to suit!
One-to-one studio sessions give a more intensive, bespoke experience and are great for those looking to develop their creative practice. I am happy to help provide tailor made session frameworks and quotes to help with your creative development funding applications.
HAND PAPERMAKING WORKSHOP - LEITH MAKERS

Learn how to create your own handmade papers using natural materials and time honoured techniques.
Hand paper making is a wonderfully tactile and sensory process with many creative possibilities. It can be combined with many creative mediums and practices from print-making to painting to bookbinding and more! During the workshop you will:
Learn the basics of sheet forming from the pulp vat using a ‘Deckle and Mould’
Have opportunity to experiment with texture and colour variegation.
Create your your own stack of beautiful A5, plant fibre, deckled edge papers

In this self-paced and hands-on workshop for all skill levels, you’ll explore how to use the plants you already know and love, in a creative new way! From tie-dyeing to bundle dyeing and even learning how to dye with mushrooms, we have you covered with so many inspiring natural dye projects. You will learn exactly how to use dozens of natural elements to dye everyday items, including fabric, homemade cosmetics, paper, and more!
